6 – 0

YEEEEESSSSS – I was there!!!

My first match of the season and I was lucky. An excellent match where the Royals simply outplayed the Hammers. Granted the Hammers played badly, but the Royals simply played very well. I was especially impressed by Hunt and Little who completely outplayed their immidiate opponents on the wings and Sidwell who was a work horse on the midfield. But every player had to take credit for this magnificient game.

The best thing about the match was that my wife had bought the tickets as an anniversory gift (11 years) and were at the Mad Stat for the first time herself, and now she would like to go again…

I'm so jealous dude…. I couldn't believe the live scoreline I was watching (apparently it wasn't a big enough match to screen on ESPN/Sky Sports here). I did very much enjoy the boxing day game with Chelski though! I think we have an Royal-in-the-closet in Ashley Cole!

LOL – I didn't see the Ashley Cole miss-up, I just read about it on BBC, where it seemed like the score line was fair. I also saw Mourinho's interview and he even praised Reading for playing well!

A few more points and the Royals a bound to stay up in the premiership, and then it is a fight for matches in Europe 😉

Ah yes. Ashley Cole tried to clear the ball by booting it along the floor in front of goal, where it deflected off Essien straight in!

Remember, that magic number is something like 41 points to guarantee staying up!

Yes, which leaves us to do 11 more points – It's not secured yet, but close…
