So they came to deliver in the space of time where neither Kirsten nor myself was home Frown

I have great hopes of the re-delivery today… Cool

There's nothing more satisfying than unpacking a new PC… Cool

  3. Karsten Oster Lundqvist says:

Indeed! Especially when everything seems to work :o)

Yes, I know that “everything seems to work” feeling all too well.  I have a spare Q9450 laying around that I need to do something with.  I may as well stick it in a machine and sell it off on eBay.

I’m keen to know what your impression of the 250 is like.  In my experience nVIDIA cards tend to falter when they go below x600.

For me the 250 works well. Good value for money!

Having said that, my gaming is mostly “old” games (2 yrs old) mostly GTR Evolution and LFS, which didn’t run optimal on the old computer but now comfortably runs at full spec on the new with 100 fps on max setting, while converting a dvd to mp4. On the old computer I had to do either or, and then not at full spec…
