You might have noticed – It is (almost) Christmas! Therefore the time is nigh for the annual Odinlab Scandinavian Themed Christmas Party – Yay!

The actual party is tomorrow, but today I’m starting the preparations. I”m going to make a traditional Danish “Klar Hønsekøds Suppe”. This is a long process (takes 5-6 hours) with additional preparation of “Tartelletter” (actually the main reason for making the soup) and other bi-products of the soup. I’m a bit scared of this, as I rarely make this soup, and I would utterly hate it, if all this effort was wasted.

Wish me luck – I’m always more confident in front of the keyboard than the kitchen utilities 8)
