US law and online gambling

The US has long been fighting a war againstonline gambling, which has led to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act, which take effect from July 2007, hence enabling prosecution of gambling sites operating in the states (including overseas companies).

But just to emphasise how keen the US is on this issue, this article http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/01/17/neteller_founders_arrested/ reports that 2 former neteller executives have just been arrested. Neteller is an online payment service and they are arrested not under the UIGE act, but because they have been accommodating payments to online gambing services (amongst many other legal services).

Netelle haven't done anything else than being a banking service!! And the individuals arrested aren't working for them anymore! So who'll be next in line? The hosting company of a poker site in 1998? The backbone provider that streamed a package from Gibratar to Arkansas in 2003?
